Lucy Hayes, our Partnership Development Manager, represented ICS at the second annual Fast Track Into Technology (FIT) ‘Women in Technology’ event in November. Aimed at inspiring secondary school girls into careers in technology and STEM, the event brought together hundreds of girls and their teachers with professionals and organisations in technology and affiliated sectors.

ICS was delighted to join numerous IT professionals and organisations, including Microsoft, Workday, Accenture and many more, who generously volunteered their time, sharing their invaluable experiences in the Irish tech sector to foster empowerment, education, and inspiration in the next generation of young female professionals.

Fastrack Into Technology (FIT), which focusses on developing pathways to employment in technology, has developed this event to spotlight the many different and growing number of career opportunities in current and emerging technologies.
