CyBridge is the ICS Cyber and Security Specialist Interest Group. It exists to close the knowledge gap among cybersecurity practitioners, legal professionals, senior leadership, academia, policymakers and regulators, building mutual fluency across disciplines so that Irish organisations are technically resilient and legally sound.
Cyber risk is no longer a purely technical problem. It sits at the intersection of law, regulation, organisational governance and technical practice. Too often, these communities operate in silos, creating blind spots that adversaries exploit.
CyBridge exists to change that.
Why now?
Ireland’s regulatory landscape is shifting fast. The window to build cross-disciplinary readiness is narrow.
NIS2 Directive
In force. Expanded obligations for cybersecurity risk management, incident reporting and board-level accountability across essential and important entities.
DORA
In force. Digital operational resilience requirements placing new duties on financial entities and their technology providers operating in Ireland.
EU AI Act
Rolling out. Risk-based AI regulation creating new compliance obligations at the intersection of technology and law for organisations across sectors.
Cyber Resilience Act
Incoming. Product security requirements that will reshape how Irish organisations procure and manage technology across their supply chains.
Upcoming Webinars & Event
CyBridge launches its event programme later this year. Our first event will bring together voices from across the cybersecurity, legal and governance landscape for an open conversation on what cross-disciplinary resilience really means for Irish organisations.
