The ADPO Executive Committee have been elected to represent all ADPO members. We aim to do this by focusing on the following areas:

• Providing accredited training for you to up-skill
• Running a yearly Conference, as well as regular events and webinars to learn, share, and broaden your network
• Lobbying for positive integration of data protection both in Ireland and across Europe

This month we would like to introduce you to Dr Maria Moloney, member of the ADPO executive committee supporting training and certification.

Maria has a PhD in Information Systems and has over 20 years of data protection and informational privacy consultancy and research experience. She is a Data Protection Consultant at Privacy Engine.

She represents ADPO at a European level through the Executive Committee of the Confederation of European Data Protection Organisations (CEDPO) and on CEDPO’s AI and Data Working Group.

She is the Informational Privacy Advisor for the largest European COST Action currently in Europe entitled ‘Fintech and Artificial Intelligence in Finance’. She also has over a decade’s experience of lecturing and training in informational privacy and data protection.
