As part of an overhaul of our systems to help the Irish Computer Society better serve its Members, we are excited to announce that we have relaunched our website, ics.ie.
The new website has been completely updated, and should make it easier than ever to find out more about what the ICS community is doing. We have developed a new, more functional news area, as well as dedicated sections for our Specialist Networks and societies.
A key focus in developing the site has been accessibility. We have aimed to achieve at least AA accessibility under the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). That means more people than ever before should be able to access and use our website.
The overhaul is not limited to our website though. We are also implementing an entirely new Members’ Area and database. This will make it simpler to interact with the work of ICS Specialist Networks, and help us keep you up to date with what interests you from the broad range of activities that take place within ICS. The new Members’ Area will be launched early next year, and we will share more information closer to launch. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form on our website or info@ics.ie for all Membership and CPD enquiries. We will be happy to help you.
