Meet the ADPO Committee: November 2023

The ADPO Executive Committee have been elected to represent all ADPO members. We aim to do this by focusing on the following areas:

  1. Providing accredited training for you to up-skill
  2. Running a yearly Conference, as well as regular events and webinars to learn, share, and broaden your network
  3. Lobbying for positive integration of data protection both in Ireland and across Europe

This month we would like to introduce you to Paula Carney-Hoffler, member of the ADPO executive committee supporting membership and events.

Paula is a founding member of IDPAA Limited, an organisation specialising in data protection and risk management consultancy. Paula has worked in the risk information sector for over 25 years. She works as an independent data protection officer and consultant for multiple companies in Ireland across various sectors.

She holds numerous qualifications in data protection and further qualifications in credit risk management, international trade finance, company law, and mediation. She has participated as an international speaker for the European Commission at their cross-border credit risk and claims programme. Furthermore, she was also a content expert on the review of the late payment directive on behalf of the European Commission.
