ICS were delighted to attend a morning briefing on the incoming cyber security NIS2 Directive hosted by our corporate members, EY, in March. The EU’s NIS2 Directive will impact between 2,500 to 3,000 organisations across 18 sectors in Ireland.

ICS Member, HSE CIO Fran Thompson and ESB’s CISO, Darren Russell, shared invaluable insights for organisations in preparation for this major cyber transformation journey. The Director of the National Cyber Security Centre, Ireland (NCSC-IE) Richard Browne, shed light on the complexity of NIS2’s impact on regulated organisations.

ICS is currently developing our own bespoke NIS2 Compliance Training for our Members in collaboration with the Association of Data Protection Officers (ADPO).
