The Irish Computer Society brings the IT professionals of Ireland together in one, influential professional body. When you join this professional body, your voice is added to the voice of IT professionals in Ireland, who make up the ICS. IT Professionals in Ireland include a wide range of specialist roles and technologies, including IT architecture, service management, digital health, data analytics, academia and business analysis.

ICS Fellowship: Lead the IT Profession
The ICS Fellowship is an exclusive network of distinguished IT leaders and role models. It is designed for influential, expert leaders who have a proven track record of accomplishment and meaningful contribution to technology and the IT community in Ireland.
Membership Criteria
To be considered for ICS Fellowship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a professional member of Irish Computer Society (ICS) for at least 12 months
- Demonstrate significant leadership experience and expertise in the IT field
- Have made notable contributions to the technology profession in Ireland
- Currently serve or have served on an ICS or Sub-Society Leadership Committee for a minimum of 12 months
- Actively promote the ICS and its mission within the wider professional community
- Show ongoing commitment to professional development and the advancement of the IT industry in Ireland
Application Process
Fellowship is available upon request and is subject to a thorough review by the ICS Council. The process includes:
- Submission of a formal application highlighting your professional achievements and evidence of your contributions
- Provision of a detailed CV/résumé demonstrating your expertise and experience
- Letters of recommendation from two current ICS Fellows
- Once received your application will be reviewed and evaluated by the ICS Council
- Notification of the Council’s decision is made in due course
